Mid Florida Leadership Seminar Chair

2013 Mid-Florida HOBY Leadership Seminar Chair, Barry Meneghelli, is a graduate of the University of Michigan in the field of Chemistry. Currently, he works at the Kennedy Space Center for the Qinetiq, North America, Corporation as a member of the Engineering Support Contract.   His current duties include doing research on insulation materials for the space program as well as providing documentation support for 32 labs and shops at the Kennedy Space Center.  While not a HOBY alumni, Barry’s HOBY experience includes experience as a facilitator, Director of Facilitators and attending the 2010, 2011 and 2012 HOBY Training Institute in Houston, Texas.  At the 2012 Training Institute, he was the instructor for the “Training CLeW and Seminar Facilitators” course.  Other past volunteer work includes Relay for Life, the Disney Special Olympics, and the Disney Marathon.  In his free time, Barry enjoys playing racquetball, photography and gourmet cooking.
