Florida HOBY

Augustus “Gus” Fulton-Wiley IV has had the pleasure of growing up in Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alaska. He attended the North Florida HOBY seminar in 2004 for Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, Florida. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He continued his graduate studies at Florida State University pursuing a Master’s in Science Education and Public Health. He is developing multiple non-profit organizations focusing on the reallocation of potentially wasted food to those with food insecurity and on sexual health promotion within his community. In his free time, he loves to travel, entertain, enjoy the company of his friends and family, cook and read/research the issues that are impacting his community. He has served in the roles of a facilitator, Director of Speakers, Director of Fundraising, and the Director of Operations, in addition to the President of the Florida State University Hugh O’Brian Leadership Student Association for alumni from 2012 – 2016. This is his tenth-year volunteering for North Florida HOBY and is excited to take on his new role as Leadership Seminar Chair.
